Black Nights Film Festival Off-Programme in Tartu


Thursday, 26.11

18.00 Opening Just Film in Pärmivabrik (Yeast factory). A graffiti contest, lasergraffiti and showing different movies/ short films/ trailers/ cool clips are all on the programme. Performances from Honey Power, Berk Vaher and others. Free for all.

Friday, 27.11

Opening Black Nights Film Festival in Tartu at Raadi Cemetery. Visiting the graves of Johannes Pääsuke, Endel Ani, Leonhard Merzin and Juri Lotman. We will light a candle and give an overview of the history of Estonian film-making and our festival. Come and experience something special! For free.

Handcraft workshop at Genialists’ Club Cafe. Come and make yourself a souvenir from our festival. You can let your mind wonder free while working with plaster. Art School students are at hand to give you advice and help make your vision come to life. For free.

21:00 A party to mark the end of the Black Nights Film Festival in Tartu at Genialists’ Club. Bands play in the hall, animations are displayed on the walls. With a ticket.

Norwegian Film Day
13:00 “Hunger” at Genialists’ Club Hall
15:00 Soup buffet at Genialists’ Club Cafe. A chance to have a meal after a hungry movie.
15:30 “Pan - Two Green Feathers” at Genialists’ Club Hall
